 Corboy & Demetrio Attorney Michael D. Ditore was appointed to the Young Professionals Board of Good Sports on June 20, 2018. Good Sports is a non-profit organization that provides underprivileged children with sports equipment, apparel and footwear so that they can have the lifelong benefits of sports and physical activity.
According to Good Sports, participation rates in youth sports are on the decline, increasing the number of children in need of the opportunity to experience the benefits of sports. With the support of manufacturers, distributors and funders, Good Sports is able to supply the much-needed equipment and apparel to community organizations. Good Sports’ Young Professional Board works to promote and raise awareness for the organization as well as works with the leadership team to develop new fundraising opportunities and to secure sponsorships. The nonprofit has donated over $26 million worth of brand new sports equipment to underprivileged children across the country, supplying equipment that has helped more than 3,700 organizations.
