Corboy & Demetrio attorney Matthew T. Jenkins took the 1953 Heisman Trophy, belonging to Johnny Lattner, on the road this week as part of a seven-day tour to share it with some wonderful non-profit groups. These pictures were taken at MindsMatters tutoring and mentoring program where Matt visited so that students could snap some pictures with it. Matt won having the Heisman for a week as a prize in a charity auction.

 Corboy & Demetrio Partner Francis Patrick Murphy was sworn in as the new Secretary of Lawyers’ Assistance Program on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015. Patrick is Immediate Past President of LAP, recently completing his second year. Patrick is a longtime member of LAP’s Board of Directors. Lawyers’ Assistance Program is a not-for-profit organization that helps Illinois lawyers, judges, law students and their families concerned about alcohol abuse, drug dependency or stress related issues like anxiety, burnout, depression and many others. LAP services include individual and group therapy, assessments, education, peer support and intervention.
