 Corboy & Demetrio founding partner Thomas A. Demetrio has been named to Roundtable: America’s 100 Most Influential Trial Lawyers for 2014 by Trial Lawyer Magazine. The chosen attorneys are among the top 100 civil plaintiff and criminal defense attorneys in the U.S. and are a select group of trial lawyers “who have achieved extraordinary success in the courtroom and legal profession,” according to the national publication.
Thomas Demetrio has tried or settled cases worth more than $1 billion, and the firm he co-founded, the Chicago personal injury law firm of Corboy & Demetrio, has tried or settled cases worth nearly $3 billion. Tom will be formally recognized at the 2014 Trial Lawyers Summit Jan. 19-22.

Corboy & Demetrio attorneys Matt Jenkins and Bill Gibbs will take part in the Chicago Bar Association CLE seminar, Trial Techniques for Every State of a Case on Feb. 13, 2014. Matt will serve as Moderator while Bill will give the presentation, Effective Discovery Aimed at Trial.
Corboy & Demetrio lawyer Matt Jenkins is Chair of CBA Committee that’s hosting the CBA Young Lawyers Section’s Texas Hold’em Tournament, which takes place on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at The Standard Club. Proceeds will benefit the Chicago Bar Foundation and tickets cost $160 per person on or before January 24, 2014or $185 after.
This is the eighth year for the popular Chicago Bar Association event. A special refresher course will be held prior to the tournament start and prizes will be awarded. Matt currently serves as Public Service Manager in the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division and sits on its Executive Committee. |
