 Corboy & Demetrio Partner Francis Patrick Murphy will be sworn in on Nov. 3, 2016 to begin serving as Treasurer of Lawyers’ Assistance Program for the 2016-2017 term. Patrick’s installation will happen at the LAP Annual Dinner at The University Club of Chicago. Patrick is a Past President of LAP, serving two consecutive terms from 2012-2014. He also served as LAP Secretary in 2015.
Lawyers’ Assistance Program is a not-for-profit organization that helps Illinois lawyers, judges, law students and their families concerned about alcohol abuse, drug dependency or stress related issues like anxiety, burnout, depression and many others. LAP services include individual and group therapy, assessments, education, peer support and intervention.
