The awards honor lawyers from a broad cross-section of the legal community whose passion for serving others is reflected in their commitment to the ideals of equal access to justice.
The CBF, with the help of the CBA, is the largest voluntarily supported bar foundation in the country. Recognizing several of the Chicago legal profession’s unsung heroes and their dedication to pro bono and public service, the awards serve to build awareness of the impact their collective efforts can have in the lives of the most vulnerable people in our community.
