Corboy & Demetrio Co-founder Thomas Demetrio created the Lawyers Lend-A-Hand Award of Excellence in 1994 while he was President of the Chicago Bar Association. Each year, he funds the award, which recognizes outstanding youth mentoring programs. The Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth Program, which administers Tom’s award, was created by The Chicago Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Foundation in 1995 in dedication to the lasting memory and generosity of the Honorable Judge Abraham Lincoln Marovitz.
