Corboy & Demetrio lawyer Matthew T. Jenkins has been honored with the “Rising Star Award” by the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association. The award was given to Jenkins as a “YLS Leader with Exceptional Promise” on June 7, 2012.
Jenkins sits on the Executive Committee of the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section. Also, he started and heads the Young Alumni Committee of the Alumni Board at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. Jenkins joined Corboy & Demetrio as a personal injury lawyer in 2008. He practices personal injury law in all areas including cases arising from automobile collisions, construction negligence, premises liability and product liability.
Matt is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, where he currently serves as co-chairman of its Civil Rights and Criminal Law Committee. He also sits on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee. Matt currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Center for Disability & Elder Law in Chicago.
