Access Living was established in 1980 to foster inclusivity for Chicagoans with disabilities. It is recognized as a leading force in the disability advocacy community. Access Living’s services are comprehensive and include peer-based support groups, independent living training and advocacy. Not only is Access Living an advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities it teaches them to become advocates for themselves.
